• Our Pay As You Go service has been designed to meet the changing requirements of our customers, who might not need to scan high volumes of images all the time - but still want to get a good deal for occasional use.
• A Bundle helps you by giving you a fixed number of scans per bundle - with a volume discount - but you can use this bundle whenever you need to.
• So if you just need to scan a few high-res images once in a while, or only want to commit to scanning a few images from a collection on a regular basis - you get the cheaper price of a volume order without needing to invest the time, money and resources into a larger volume commitment - and much easier than getting someone to do the scanning in-house!
• A Bundle is also great if you are looking at short term projects - by giving you a volume discount without needing to sign up for a longer term contract.
• You can upgrade to a larger Bundle whenever you want - so if your needs change at any time, you can be sure you'll always get great savings.
• UPDATE: For Bundles of 50 scans or more, you now have the option of a previewing service for the first 5 scans - so that you can be fully confident in what you are getting.

• Applicable for all formats, including reflectives
• Bundles start from 20 up to 200 scans - and can be tailored to exact numbers
  
• All Bundles are valid for a period of 1 year from date of purchase

Bundle Price Plans*

Bundle Prices described above include transparency formats up to medium format. A Bundle may include mixed formats up to this size. For other formats, please discuss your requirements with a member of the team.

Scanning Services: General Guidelines

• All scans are detailed meticulously by hand: we don’t use any automated filters or software to remove dust and scratches.

• All scans are processed to meet as close as possible to the colour4colour Drum Quality Standard™ within the maximum capability of the machine. Some variations may occur due to the limitations of film conditions and age.

• All drum-standard archival scans and oil-mounted drum scans are produced to industry-standard levels. Files are sized at 60 MB – 80 MB Tiff Format (8-Bit) and are delivered in Adobe RGB, unless otherwise requested.

• All images are colour managed and optimised to our calibrated environment. Our custom-built scan labs are rigorously maintained to meet colour-accurate and verifiable standards, using our patented software suite and the leading spectrophotometer technology from GretagMacbeth.

• All materials are cleaned using professional grade, specialist materials and tools prior to scanning, to deliver the cleanest results.

• All drum scans are produced using the highest-grade drum materials from leading manufacturers and cleaned immediately after scanning to prevent any film degradation or damage.

• For drum-quality film scans, we recommend cased transparencies are removed from their mounts for a higher quality result. This can be done by us at extra cost. However if removing films is not preferable or not requested, they will be scanned as they are.

Pay As You Go Scan Bundle Terms & Conditions

• Up to 5 Preview scans are available with the purchase of a film or drum scan Bundle of 50 scans or more. A Bundle order must be placed before Preview scans can be offered.
• 5 scans will be selected from the first batch of scans given. These are for assessment and feedback purposes.
• In the unlikely event you are not satisfied with the preview scans, we will endeavour to address any issues you may have, and confirm the service meets your requirements.
• All film scans are produced to our Drum Standard specifications, within our ISO certified colour correct environment. Colour variations may occur with individual monitor settings and calibrations. Colour4Colour are not responsible for any variations that may occur in external viewing environments outside our own.
• All film scans are produced to our Drum Standard specifications, however this may be affected by film condition, aging and possible pre-existing damage to the film surface. Colour4Colour will inform you of these issues should they arise, and are not responsible for any limitation of the scans brought about by these factors.

• Bundle prices are valid at date of publication and may be subject to change without notice.

• Bundles are valid for a period of one calendar year from date of purchase. Remaining scans may be carried forward beyond this period with the purchase of a new Bundle.

• Bundles must be paid for in full value at time of initial purchase. Bundles cannot be paid in installments with separate scan batches.

• Film & Drum Scan Bundles are not interchangeable. For separate services, a separate Bundle must be purchased.

• The Bundle packages listed are for guidelines. Custom Bundle packages are available upon request.

• Bundle prices do not include the cost of return of any original materials. This will be subject to an additional charge of £4.50 for 1st Class Recorded Delivery, and £6.50 for Special Delivery Guaranteed Services. For charges for international deliveries, please enquire for details.

• Bundle prices quoted are for positive transparency format films only. For negative films, please enquire for details.

• Bundles may include a mixture of formats up to medium format films, and can include both mounted and unmounted slides.

• Bundle prices do not include any keywording services. Files will be numbered or given standardised names. Specific file naming, if specified prior to scanning a batch, may be provided at our discretion.

• All Bundle scans are produced to our Drum Standard specifications, and will be provided in Adobe RGB, 8 bit, with a file size of 60-80 MB (Film Scanning) and 80-100 MB (Drum Scanning) unless otherwise specified prior to scanning.
